Lego unveils life-size replica of Ferrari SF-24 to promote new F1 set (X @LEGO_Group_JP)
Lego has built a life-size replica of the Formula 1 Ferrari SF-24, made up of 562,000 pieces, as part of a campaign to promote the launch of its new set dedicated to the model.
The car, a 1:1 scale version, was designed with extreme precision, including all the details of the real car, such as logos and aerodynamic features.
The model’s construction required 100 hours of design and over 1,200 hours of work, led by Riccardo Zangelmi, the only LEGO Certified Professional in Italy.
The 1:8 scale Ferrari SF-24 model, which uses 1,361 pieces, will be released in March 2025 at a price of $229.99. While it uses fewer pieces than the 1:1 scale version, it is a faithful replica of the Maranello car, with details such as a two-gear transmission, a V-6 engine with a rotating MGU-H, an adjustable rear wing, and directional wheels.
This is another creation from the partnership between Ferrari and Lego, which has already resulted in sets of other iconic models from the brand, such as the F40 and the Daytona SP3.
Those who want to see the life-size replica can visit it at the Lego store in Milan, Italy, on upcoming Fridays or Saturdays. After that, the model will be displayed on a tour in major Italian cities.
